Cancellations

  • As outlined in 'Deposits & Payments', all deposit payments are non-refundable.
  • We will, where possible, always endeavour to move the booking of your Cake to a later date however, this will be subject to our availability based upon other confirmed orders at that time.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

  • All of our Cakes are produced in our kitchen where Nuts, Dairy and Wheat are present.
  • We are able to produce Cakes suitable for all dietary requirements however, due to the ingredients used that are produced outside of our kitchen, we are unable to guarantee that Cakes will be 100% free from cross-contamination.
  • Please notify us at the time of ordering if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. With all bespoke orders, we will provide you with a list of allergens that are present within your Cake.

Delivery & Collections

  • All collections are to take place from our registered address at our Boutique at 110 Queens Road, Leicester LE2 3FL unless otherwise stated on your invoice.
  • All collections are to take place at the agreed time or during the Boutique opening hours.
  • For all non-Wedding Cakes, delivery can be arranged to your chosen address. A mileage cost will be calculated and applied as a separate item to the overall quote of your Cake.
  • Upon delivery, it is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to take your Cake on the agreed date. If there is no-one present to take delivery we will do our very best to leave them in a safe place (with a neighbour etc.) but we cannot keep hold of your order for re-delivery and they will be left at the address you have given us.
  • Once orders have been collected or delivered, we are unable to accept any responsibility for damage to your Cake.

Transportation

  • Due to the delicate nature of our products, we strongly recommend that your Cake is transported on a flat surface, ideally in the boot of a vehicle and securely positioned in place. We do not recommend Cakes being transported on the seats of vehicles due to the positioning of the Cake. We can not be held liable for any damage once your Cake has been collected.

Wedding Cake Set-Up

  • Prior to your Wedding, we will take contact details for your venue/organiser to agree delivery and set-up of your Cake.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that any Cake stand is available for us to enable the Cake to be set up accordingly.
  • Please ensure you have agreed with your venue where the Cake will be positioned at the point of set up.
  • Once the Cake has been set up, we will take many photographs of the Cake fully in situ. We cannot be held responsible for any subsequent damage to the Cake.

Portion Guide

  • Our portion guide is a recommendation only, dependent upon how the Cake is cut. We can provide additional guidance on the best way to cut your Cake to achieve the recommended portions.

After Care

  • All our Cakes are made to order and as such, we are unable to accept any returns. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your Cake, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt and return the product directly to us to enable us to rectify this. We are unable to accept liability after this time.
